Anthem News is reporting that yet another fatality in school closures will be occurring. This time the victim is KinderCare. They report that, “after 13 years of caring for kids, KinderCare will close its doors Friday, May 30, leaving about 60 families to find another source for childcare.”

After six years of serving students in a private, college-preparatory format, The Caepe School will be closing. A year ago the Caepe was seeking charter status. But in a recent email, head of the tuition-based school, Tamara Lee, said, “We are not going to pursue a charter and, in fact, we are closing the Caepe School.”

It was so sad to see Ace Hardware close it’s doors in October or 2011, explaining that “the economic environment is making it impossible for us to stay open.” Now there is news that Ace will return to the same location under new ownership.
