Anthem Memorial Day Ceremony: A Day of Remembrance

You will not want to miss out on the Memorial Day ceremony in Anthem on Monday, May 26th. The ceremony titled “A Day of Remembrance,” is now in its third year and is becoming an annual tradition. The award-winning memorial itself (pictured above) has five pillars represent the unity of the five branches of the U.S. military.

This year’s event, hosted by Anthem Veterans Memorial Support Team and the Daisy Mountain Veterans includes:

•  Keynote address by Doree Berggren of Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc.
•  P.O.W. and M.I.A. ceremony
•  Tribute to the 26 veterans commemorated at the Memorial who were killed in action or are missing in action
•  Performance by ProMusica Arizona
